How to find a custom pullover sweater manufacturer for bulk orders?

Choosing a manufacturer for custom pullover sweaters comes down to four checks: category experience, specification control, evidence, and commercial fit.
Category experience. The construction route comes before the design. A knitwear route samples in about 10–15 days, the cut-and-sew route in 7–10 days. Both run from the same 100 pieces per color per style minimum. Deciding this late re-opens the whole schedule.
Specification control. A manufacturer should be able to describe the fabric, the weight reference and the construction items it will control: cotton and cotton-blend yarns for cut-and-sew knit programs and wool and wool blends for premium knitwear, with a construction route chosen first — knitwear or cut-and-sew — because it changes sampling time and minimum and yarn and gauge agreed against the target hand and season. If those are vague before you order, they will be vague during production.
Evidence. Ask for a QC checklist, a measurement sheet with tolerances, the AQL standard they work to, and a clear statement of what is produced in-house versus subcontracted. A supplier that answers yes to everything has not read your brief.
Commercial fit. Minimum order is 100 pieces per color per style, sampling runs 7–10 days, bulk production 30–45 days, and indicative FOB pricing for pullover sweaters sits in the $8–28+ range — knitwear carries machine-programming setup and yarn minimums that cut-and-sew does not.
