Custom fleece tracksuits are built from four decisions: fabric and weight, construction and trims, decoration, and the private label pack. Each one changes cost, lead time and how the finished piece reads.
Fabric. The options we run most are cotton fleece for a natural hand-feel; cotton-poly fleece for stable color and shape; heavyweight fleece for a structured set. For fleece tracksuits the practical weight reference is 280–400 GSM; 400 GSM fleece is too heavy for a spring drop, so the weight has to match the selling season. Ordering by weight figure alone is not enough — two fabrics can both be called the same weight and still behave differently in wash, drape and color retention, so composition and shrinkage are confirmed by wash testing.
Construction and trims. The build includes matching rib at cuffs, hem and waistband across jacket and pant; a jacket and pant developed on one fabric lot so the shade matches; elastic or drawcord waistband on the pant with tuned tension; pocket layout agreed across both pieces.
Decoration. Available routes include embroidery, screen print, patches, tonal branding. Decoration is approved on the actual fabric rather than on a test swatch, because stretch, pile, coating and heat sensitivity all change the result.
Private label pack. Woven neck labels, size and care labels, logo tags, hangtags, barcoded polybags and printed cartons. A garment can leave the sewing line finished and still not be retail-ready, and this layer is what closes that gap.
A note specific to this category: Fleece tracksuits are a season decision as much as a fabric decision. A 400 GSM fleece set is genuinely too warm for a spring drop, and buying one weight for two seasons is how brands end up discounting stock they cannot move.
