How to order custom casual pants for streetwear clothing lines?

Choosing a manufacturer for custom casual pants comes down to four checks: category experience, specification control, evidence, and commercial fit.
Category experience. Casual pants live or die on drape. The 220–280 GSM stretch twill range is what makes them read as a considered casual style rather than a lightweight sweatpant substitute, and adding stretch changes the pattern allowances as well as the hand-feel.
Specification control. A manufacturer should be able to describe the fabric, the weight reference and the construction items it will control: stretch twill for comfort and movement and cotton twill for a cleaner, more structured surface, with a flat-front or pleated waistband with belt loops and zip fly or button fly with bartacked ends. If those are vague before you order, they will be vague during production.
Evidence. Ask for a QC checklist, a measurement sheet with tolerances, the AQL standard they work to, and a clear statement of what is produced in-house versus subcontracted. A supplier that answers yes to everything has not read your brief.
Commercial fit. Minimum order is 100 pieces per color per style, sampling runs 7–10 days, bulk production 30–45 days, and indicative FOB pricing for casual pants sits in the $8–30+ range — fabric weight and pocket/panel complexity are the main drivers.
